UTME / O’ Level subject requirements to study Physiotherapy in Nigerian universities
The UTME / O’ level subject requirements to study Physiotherapy in Nigerian universities are as follows:
Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
JAMB UTME subject combination requirements to study Physiotherapy in Nigerian universities
JAMB UTME subjects are the subjects which you must write in the JAMB Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The UTME subject combination requirement for Physiotherapy is as follows:
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Direct Entry requirements to study Physiotherapy in Nigerian universities
Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Special considerations for Direct Entry
(i) IBADAN requires three (3) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Zoology plus B.Sc. in relevant programme.
(ii) LAGOS – JUPEB/‘A’ – level passes in Physics Chemistry and Biology. B.Sc. Degree (first class/second class upper) in Medical related fields.
(iii) ILORIN accept:
a) G.C.E with pass in Chemistry, Physics & Biology at Advanced Level or its equivalents.
b) Candidates with B.Sc (not less than second class honours) in any of the Basic Medical Sciences.
Special considerations for UTME
(i) IBADAN and LAGOS – Same as in Medicine and Surgery.
(ii) ILORIN accepts five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(iii) LAGOS requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Special considerations for UTME subjects
(i) ILORIN requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(ii) LAGOS requires English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
